This new 4x4, the Mercedes-Benz GL-Class, features the most powerful diesel engine on a production vehicle in the world, coupled with class-leading interior and finish, hence:

"Power. Refined"

Agency Republic needed to reach 2 diverse audiences of potential buyers through online advertising: those looking for the ultimate in towing capability, in addition to those wanting the largest, luxurious 4x4 money can buy.

It was important that the work both inspired and engaged such selective audiences by cutting through with the innovative edge that has always defined Mercedes-Benz.

"But how could interactivity represent and elevate both elements?"

Republic filmed a GL-Class being put through its paces, enlisting the services of a previous British Rally Champion and filmed a variety of scenarios within the interior spaces to over-elaborate on the ‘refinement’ point, using somewhat OTT ideas to drive home the point
