Egg Money is an innovative personal finance product - which inspired a concept based on the product being so revolutionary it had to be tested on guinea pigs.

The role of online was to herald the integrated campaign and explore the guinea pig testing world. A strong visual identity was created to ensure stand-out against the bland financial services marketing landscape.

  • Rich media placements on MSN and Yahoo included a ‘Guinea Masseur’ interactive panel which invited the user to make a guinea squeal with happiness.
  • Key to talkability were the eBay ‘Guinea Mini’ listings. A three inch high scooter, a XXXXS sized PVC jacket, a tiny kettle, a miniature garden spade and fork amongst other random items were listed to draw interest to guinea pigs.
  • The ‘Egg Research Lab’ website, created a home for Dean and Michelle, our two hirsute stars, and provided humorous demonstration of the product’s benefits through our furry friend’s spending and saving behaviour.
